Shellee Ouillette is a 5th generation Californian. She grew up in beautiful Laguna Beach California and graduated from Laguna Beach High School. She then went on to college at San Diego State University and received her BA degree in four years with honors in Speech Communication. Shellee immediately started working for Procter and Gamble as a Sales Manager in Orange County. She quickly rose the corporate ladder and became an Operations Manager with 53 people reporting to her. She was traveling 11 airports a month and found it difficult to have a home life and raise her children. Growing up in an artist community she had a passion for art and decided to pursue her dream. She left Procter and Gamble to pursue her love for family heritage in photography.

In 1995 Shellee started Photographic Memories and never looked back. She relocated to Canyon Lake to raise her family and then settled in Murrieta. Shellee has a very supportive husband and two active children. She is a busy mom and understands the challenges of “doing it all”. While pursuing her love for Photography, she went back to school and received a degree in photography in December 2002. Shellee continues her education annually with national conventions, conferences, schools, trade shows and working with other industry leaders. She has won several national awards for her images.

Shellee’s passion is to create a portrait designed for you and your family. It is not just a snap shot in time for her. It is a lasting memory, a legacy to leave behind. She truly believes that there is nothing more special you can give your family than a portrait. No two clients are the same to therefore no two portraits are the same. When you are with Shellee, you get her undivided attention. She looks over every detail and gives you the best quality portrait available. There is no time limit or number of pictures with her. It is all about having fun and enjoying this special time in your life.

Shellee now owns and manages a custom 1,300 square foot studio in Murrieta. She works six days a week by appointment and loves every minute of what she does. You may have seen her images displayed in the Inland Valley Hospital, Rancho Springs Hospital, Temecula Valley OBGYN, Rancho OBGYN, Dr. Herwitz Pediatrics, Dr. Pumphery Pediatrics, Dr. Hauser Dental, Dr. Jacobs Dermatology, Pacific Coast Cheerleading, and Murrieta Ranch Preschool.

Shellee’s believes it is important to give back to her community. She has donated pictures and time to local organizations, clubs and charities. She is currently working with Operation Smile. She was just asked to be the sideline photographer for Murrieta Valley High School for Varsity Football.

Shellee loves creating beautiful portraits for her clients and watching a family grow. The hardest part about her job is that her cheeks get sore from smiling back at her clients. What a gift it is to love what you do!
